LASER.region.AACHEN brings together more than 60 industrial partners, research institutions as well as educational, social and development partners. The alliance for laser-based production technologies thereby operates as a central competence center for industrial solutions using laser technology.

Key activities include the development of combined processes and new products, joint technology platforms, service concepts as well as new education and training opportunities. Cost savings, sustainable products and applications as well as numerous innovations can be achieved as a result.
