In the field of additive manufacturing LUNOVU offers intelligent laser cladding systems. Arbitrary work pieces are automatically scanned using laser triangulation, resulting in 3D models generated from the scan data. Based on these models, welding tracks can be manually defined or automatically generated, optionally taking additional CAD data into account. The system furthermore generates the required NC or RC programs which are automatically executed. Such systems are used for the repair or modification of existing parts, in particular in the aerospace industry and for tool and mold making applications. Beyond that, they are used as well for the additive manufacturing of complete 3D parts. For research and development and for small series production, the LUNOVU eLMD system offers a compact, turn-key solution for the additive manufacturing.

Furthermore, LUNOVU designs and manufactures customer specific laser machine systems for various purposes. Applications are micro processing, semiconductors or general material processing.
